This relatively less explored beach is situated in the Udipi district of Karnataka.
Though, relatively explored the beach is still popular among students and is either called as ‘Kaup’ or ‘Kapu’. It has huge rocks, blue water, clean sand and above all a lighthouse! One can climb up to the top of the lighthouse and have a scenic view of the sea and land below. Its windy up there and perfect place for photos! The main attraction of this beach is the lighthouse built on a rock boulder long back in the year 1901.The might of the Arabian sea can be experienced by the tourists by the roar created due to striking of waves with rocks present along this coast.
The Lighthouse was erected, perhaps, to warn the sailors about the danger they may face in the presence of rocks. Tourists are allowed to go atop the Lighthouse to have a panoramic view of the Beach.
